A Home Inspection is all about the education. Our job is to learn all we can about your new home, and then tell you about it. On average, we spend about 4 hours at the typical home, taking notes, taking pictures, and generally trying to crawl through, under, over and around every part of it. In the process we run a lot of water, remove covers, evaluate windows, doors, electrical outlets, switches, wiring, mechanical components and the general structure. Along the way we document, learn, document, and learn some more. When we're satisfied that we have collected as much information as we can, we return to our office to compile a comprehensive report that thoroughly describes the home you are about to buy.

FALL IS HERE and WINTER IS COMING! Are you ready?
Fall is often full of cool dry weekends. It is easily my favorite time of year. For my family, there are 3 holidays right around the corner and I can't wait for all the
opportunities for us to spend time together. However, it is also the time for the happy homeowner to begin to batten down the hatches before the rains begin. This is the time to update old caulking and to touch up the paint where needed.
Water gets behind all siding but we want to keep it to a minimum. Caulk and paint are the keys to doing this. You will need to perform this maintenance twice as often on the south and west sides of your
home. So what are you waiting for. Get on out to the the south side of your home and see how things are looking. If you have questions, snap a few pics and email them to me. I will be happy to answer any
questions you have. I hope you and your family have a great fall!
